Many of the native plants that support our native bees and birds require a period of cold before their seeds will sprout.
Learn to grow your own native plants from seed with a mini greenhouse crafted from an empty milk or water jug.
Grow perennial flowers to support our local pollinators, birds, and biodiversity. (Best time to plant is December - February)
Grow cold-hardy vegetables in a small shady spot for the winter. ( Best time to plant is January - March)
This is an in-person, hands-on, free event.
