Written and directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, The Voice of Hind Rajab, a docudrama, was first presented in September 2025 at the Venice International Film Festival. The film was nominated for an Academy Award.
From the official synopsis: “January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A six-year-old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.”
In addition to the film series, the Palestine Committee holds a vigil in Watertown Square every Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 to support peace, security and reconstruction in Gaza and the West bank and the implementation of Palestinian national rights.
