More Fracked Gas for New England? Let’s Act

In the same week that the UN ‘s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that “any further delay in global action on adaptation and mitigation will miss a brief and rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all.”,the New England Power Grid Operator made a surprise decision that will effectively favor wind and solar projects for years into the future in favor of natural gas.

WE CAN OVERTURN THIS DECISION when it goes to FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ) in March for approval or disapproval.  WRITE OR EMAIL our powerful Senators – Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey  to speak to the Chairman of FERC and tell him that New England opposes the ISO New England decision to delay letting solar and wind projects compete on a level playing field against natural (fracked) gas power plants.
