Our friends at Save Watertown Wildlife invite you to join the
Protect Animals from Rodenticide Lobby Day
Hosted by Mass Audubon and MSPCA, this event, which is open to everyone, brings grassroots advocates together to speak directly with their elected officials about why we need protect our wildlife and pets by restricting the use of rodent poisons across the state.
Tentative Schedule
9:30-10:30 am: Arrive and Check-in (plan for extra time for traffic, parking, and security)
10:30-11:30 am: Kick-Off and Forum where you will meet Red-tailed Hawk “Falco” from the New England Wildlife Center and hear from the bill’s sponsors Representative Jim Hawkins and Senator Michael Moore
11:30 am-12:00 pm: Meet & Greet and Exhibition with legislators visiting tables hosted by community groups and organizations from across the state
12:00-3:30 pm: Legislator Meetings
Please register by July 10 so we can schedule meetings in small groups by district with your state legislators. Registrants will receive a Lobby Day tool kit, complete with a full schedule of the day, invitations to trainings, information about the State House, and instructions for participation.
