Join us as we focus on solidarity with Indigenous people. Members of the Pigsgusset Initiative, a working group of WCPJE that is focused on indigenous unerasure, will highlight their recent activities and will show a short documentary called Bounty. Produced by Upstander Project in collaboration with Penobscot families and filmmakers, Bounty is a powerful film about genocide against Indigenous peoples in New England and scalp proclamations signed in Boston’s Old State House that brings up important themes of resilience and justice. There will be time for reflection and discussion after the film. The Zoom link is available here.
