Watertown Citizens Monthly Meeting

Special December Meeting

We invite you to join us for our December Monthly Meeting where we will celebrate the accomplishments of Watertown resident Rhianna Kohl. She successfully worked to pass legislation to educate health care workers about Alzheimer’s disease The bill was sponsored by Watertown’s state Senator Will Brownsberger, and signed into law last August by Governor Charlie Baker.

The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Act makes Massachusetts the first state in the nation to require that physicians, physician assistants, and nurses receive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

She will talk with us about her experience. We will discuss briefly some of the ongoing work of Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice, and the Environment. And to mark the holidays, we will enjoy some desserts and drinks!
