On Thursday, April 25, Watertown will celebrate Arbor Day with a day of service, and also provide information for people interested in trees, gardening and other related topics. The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the parking area at Arsenal Park.
Friends of Bees will be there, educating about how to help bees and other pollinators. We have information to share about what to plant and where to buy plants that are safe for bees. We will also be offering an opportunity to participate in a spring project to observe our flowering street trees and see which ones are helping bees!
