*Nearly $1 TRILLION in war and weapons spending in 2024???*

Last week, the Biden administration released a Pentagon budget request of
$886.4 billion, *a staggering $28 billion increase over last year’s
Congressionally approved Pentagon spending.*

Instead of these obscene budgets for war-fighting, we should be investing
in better public health care and disease control, affordable housing, and

alone is nearly half the proposed budget to address catastrophic climate
