An exhibit of photographic portraits and excerpts from interviews with Palestinians living, studying or working in Cambridge about life and identity in the Diaspora.

Exhibit runs through March 28, 2017
Gutman Hours: Monday- Thursday 8 AM-11 PM, Friday: 8 AM-7 PM, Saturday– 9 AM-7 PM, Sunday 12-9 PM.

Scenes from a Bethlehem refugee camp and remarks. Refreshments served.

Powerful current film screenings from Palestinian film-maker and photographer, Mohammad al-Azza with comments from Amahl Bishara, an Associate Professor at Tufts and current a Radcliffe Fellow. Recently returned from Bethlehem, Amahl will share updates.

Intergenerational Palestinian Voices
A panel discussion featuring interviewees in the exhibit, Palestinian members of the Harvard Community and Cambridge High School and elementary students. An opportunity for reflections on being Palestinian in Cambridge from ages 10 to 70.

There were a lot of people who, even if they did not understand the politics or sympathize with Palestinians politically, understood the human part. It was easier for people to understand what happened to your grandmother, what happened to your father, what happened to your cousin in the struggle than to give them a lecture about what happened in 1980, in 1947 or 1948. – Layla Hijab Cable.
