Annual Meeting with Congresswoman Katherine Clark!

Please enjoy the recording of our 42 Annual Meeting with special guest, Representative Katherine Clark.

What a year it’s been!  Throughout this tumultuous time, Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice, and the Environment has continued its work. Over Zoom, we held monthly forums on peace, racial justice, biodiversity, immigration, indigenous rights and more. If you missed the discussions, you can view them on our website, watertowncitizens.org. We also welcomed a new working group, the Pigsgusset Initiative. We will have brief reports from our working groups you can hear how, in spite of the pandemic, the groups have forged ahead to address the urgent issues in our midst.

We are delighted to announce that the featured guest for this year’s  Annual Meeting will be our Honorable Congresswoman Katherine Clark. As Assistant Speaker to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, she is now the second-highest ranking woman in Congress, and the second woman ever to be elected to one of the top four leadership positions in the House of Representatives. This will be a great opportunity to learn what she is thinking and ask questions related to our mission that are on your mind!

Thanks to your attention, participation, and contributions, there is so much that Watertown Citizens has accomplished in our 42 years!   We ask for your financial support only once a year, and now is that moment!  Please respond with the enclosed card, or GIVE HERE

Hopefully next year’s Annual Meeting will bring us together in person, and allow us to savor the wonderful potlucks that have always kicked off that special gathering. But meantime, please join us virtually as we celebrate over four decades of activism, and enjoy this unique chance to speak with Representative Clark.

In solidarity,
