Please join us for the next film in our Palestine Film Series – BORN IN GAZA – on Sunday, June 14 at 6:30 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The Palestine Committee of Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice and the Environment this year is offering a series of documentary and feature films that explores the history and culture of the Palestinian people and provides a picture of their life under Israeli occupation.
Our upcoming film is Born in Gaza (2014) a documentary by filmmaker Hernán Zin. Filmed during the Israeli offensive that devastated the Gaza Strip in July and August 2014, the film follows ten children who tell us what their daily lives are like under the bombs. The Argentine director offers us an intimate and profound look at the way in which violence gradually transforms the lives of these ten children. It is heartbreaking, but necessary watch. (This description is a compilation of two posts available online.)
