Fund Healthcare Not Warfare Webinar Series

Across the state hundreds of thousands of health care workers, low wage earners, tenants, and small business are under great stress and direct danger, desperately in need of of increased resources, investment and income.  In response, progressive legislators have turned the normally stolid Massachusetts Legislature into a battle ground for positive programs. Notable was the recent passage of a Moratorium on Evictions and Foreclosures.

On Sunday evening May 3, at 7 pm, four  leaders of the legislative struggles – Rep. Nika Elugardo, Rep. Mike Connolly, Rep. Lindsay Sabadosa and Senator Jamie Eldridge  – will report on current and emerging battles in the State Legislature.  Please RSVP to receive video and phone codes.

State Rep. Mike Connolly has represented Cambridge and Somerville in the State Legislature since 2017.  He is an activist and attorney State Rep. Nika Elugardo has represented Jamaica Plain and surrounding areas since 2019.  She is an attorney and advocate. State Sen. James Eldridge represents the Middlesex and Worcester district, which runs from Westborough through Acton to Shirley, in the State Senate since 2009. He is an indispensable progressive leader in the State Senate. State Rep. Lindsay Sabadosa has represented Northampton and surrounding towns since 2019.   She has been active with Planned Parenthood and the Women’s March.
