March 21, 2019 “Midnight Voices” Sponsored by Veterans for Peace: Third Thursday March 21st 7-9:30 PM- This Month’s Special Feature – Banjo Man-Singer Songwriter-Story-teller Pat Scanlon Channeling Pete Seeger

Friends Meeting House –5 Longfellow Park (across from Longfellow House on Brattle Street), Cambridge

Pat Scanlon banjo man, singer-songwriter and “a story goes with each one” for about an hour channeling one Pete Seeger will highlight the March “Midnight Voices” on the 21st All out to support former Smedley Coordinator and a leading Brigade activist.

This month will begin with a short half hour “open mic” with Paul Saint-Armand from the Samanthas already committed to gracing us with a few songs in preparation for his feature in April. We have room for a couple of other before intermission and then Pat’s performance at about 8PM-After that we will have another short “open mic” to finish the evening’s program.
Admission is FREE and refreshments provided!

Welcome to all poets, writers, musicians, veterans, supporters, soldiers, free spirits- Midnight Voices is held each third Thursday of month. We encourage each performer to save a few minutes for audience questions about what they are performing and how the “muse” came to them.

Anybody, performers or audience, who has books, music and such for sale or for giving away feel free to bring them along as we will have a table set up for that purpose table.

We will finish by about 9:30 PM or so to clean up and chat-All are welcome.
