We live in an era of increasing inequality, and this trend has important political and social effects. Sara Chaganti will discuss the effects of public policy (both current and past) and show that inequality is not simply an unfortunate by-product of the free market, but is also driven by a series of public policy
decisions. Chaganti is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute on Assets and Social Policy at Brandeis University.
