NO BOGUS ‘WORK REQUIREMENTS’ FOR MEDICAID,
FOOD STAMPS AND HOUSING!
In his 2019 budget, President Trump again proposes to raise rents for millions of HUD assisted tenants, from 30 to 35% of GROSS income–a 22% increase! Trump also proposes tocut 200,000 Section 8 Vouchers, and end grants for Public Housing, City housing programs and new housing production.
Trump has also proposed to slash or end virtually every “safety net” program for the American people, including Medicaid, Food Stamps, Medicare, Obamacare, education, environmental protection and childcare.
Worse, Trump and Ryan will soon propose legislation to cut off rental assistance, Medicaid or Food Stamps to people unable to obtain jobs or participate in bogus “work” programs–while slashing funds for job training and support!
Trump’s cuts would pay for his $1.5 trillion tax cut to the 1% and increased spending on first strike nuclear weapons, the Pentagon, and the Wall.
