Martha of the Lawyer's Guild, on the Alex Saab case, was my room mate in
Venezuela and this happened while we were in Caracas.

Everyone,



Medea, Christa, and I as well as the other rally and book event organizers
are shocked to tell you that the university congregational church, which
had agreed to host the book talk tonight, has canceled. They explained on
the phone that they were following the lead of the university bookstore
after also being contacted by "the University." They would not be more
specific as to whether it was university administration, university faculty
members, and/or student groups, who approaches them.



*Please do come to the rally outside the University bookstore at 5 PM
today!* After the rally, we will go to the another location, outside, to be
determined, where Medea can present her antiwar book, *War in Ukraine:
making sense of a sense of conflict.*
