Dear colleagues,

It’s a big day for the ever-increasing (sigh!) Pentagon budget! But never
fear … the organizing continues!

Please hold the date for a livestream with Representatives Lee and
Pocan on *March
22nd 2023 at 8:30 pm ET*. The Members will discuss the People Over Pentagon
Act that they reintroduced this Congress and will be joined by several
guests from the People Over Pentagon coalition to discuss their support of
the bill. Throughout the stream, viewers will be encouraged to reach out to
their representatives’ offices and encourage new members to co-sponsor the
bill.

We’ll have more details to share next week, but we’d love for everyone to
get it on their calendars. We’ll be asking groups to uplift and cross-post
the stream if you are able.
