I will not be available on June 21. I will be at the annual General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalists.

Tony,  I probably will not be back from my travels by June 21.  But I am surprised at the date; I thought we did not have a monthly meeting right after the annual meeting.  It's only 10 days after.

Folks,
If no one else has plans for the June  21st Monthly Meeting, the P&CS and WFCC working groups would like to claim the date for a joint meeting on militarism and climate change.  Our presenters would be the folks for Veterans for Peace who have a program dedicated to this topic.   I will be in touch with the Vets to confirm the date.  I would like to get the OK soon so we can do some Save the Date notices to 350 Mass and MAPA.
Looking ahead, P&CS is thinking of an in-person meeting in October at the Library to show the film BOYCOTT. Can't book anything until three months before so we will call in July.  We are also looking at a September program, either the September monthly meeting or a Sunday evening meeting with Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility on the nuclear weapons/war, with a speaker from Back from the Brink out of CA.  Finally, P&CS has approached the RSG working group to team up on a program on the Militarization of Border Communities (title of a recent report) with the folks at the Progressive Congressional Caucus Center.  The RSG is discussing this invitation to work with P&CS on such a program at their meeting tonight.  If they are interested we would be looking at the fall.
One final item - does anyone know how to get a petition on-line so that people can sign it on-line?  We have drafted a petition to Rep. Clark asking her to sign on to H.Res. 77 (about the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons) and we would like to get signatures on-line.  Any folks know how to do this or where to start to learn how?
Thanks, Tony
