Under the banner, “Window Into Syria Film Series“, Watertown Citizens’ Refugee Support Working Group will sponsor two films and discussion events at the Watertown Free Public Library from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
On Sunday, October 16 they showed “Salam Neighbor” with guest speaker Dr. Omar Salem of The Karam Foundation.
On Sunday, October 23 they will show “Children of Syria” with guest speaker Sami Abdallah of Eyes on Refugees. Please note the change of location! It will be at First Parish Unitarian, 35 Church Street.
