First Parish Watertown and Progressive Watertown will host a Sign, Banner, and Sash-making Workshop for those attending the marches in Boston and Washington, D.C. The marches are scheduled for January 21.
The Sign, Banner, and Sash-making Workshop will be held at First Parish in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday, January 12, from 7 – 10pm. Some supplies will be provided. Feel free to also bring your own. Watertown has chosen to adopt the colors of the Women’s Suffrage Movement: Purple, White, and Gold, for the Women’s March on Washington. Wood and metal will most likely not be allowed at the marches. Plan to use cardboard, cardboard tubes, paper, and fabric for your signs and banners.
